Yes, YOTEL Washington, DC is pet friendly and we are always delighted to host four-legged guests! There is a one-time pet fee of $75 for the stay. Please note, in consideration of our other guests, the hotel reserves the right to ask that the pet be removed from the premises should they cause excessive noise and/or disturbances on property. The hotel also reserves the right to impose additional charges for damage or additional clean up fees.

The hotel recognizes dogs and miniature horses as service animals and will not impose a pet fee for these animals trained to do work or perform tasks for guests with disabilities. Guests travelling with a service animal may be asked for reasonable evidence that the animal is not merely a pet.

Dogs whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the ADA, and as such are subject to the $75 pet fee.

Under the ADA, service animals must be harnessed, leashed, or tethered, unless the individual’s disability prevents using these devices or these devices interfere with the service animal’s safe, effective performance of tasks. In that case, the individual must maintain control of the animal through voice, signal, or other effective controls. If the handler cannot control the service animal or if the animal is not housebroken, the hotel reserves the right to ask that the animal be removed from the premises. We will make all necessary accommodations to assist the guest without the animal’s presence.

Please note that a fee can be imposed for a service animal in the event the pet causes any damage and/or requires additional clean up.
